We’re thrilled to welcome World Hope International as our newest Baby Ubuntu implementation partner! World Hope International is a Christian relief and development organisation bringing hope in hard places by partnering with vulnerable and exploited communities to alleviate poverty, suffering and injustice.

Based in Freetown, Sierra Leone, Enable the Children joined World Hope International in 2015, it is a grassroots program that has been transforming the lives of children with disabilities since 2007, offering holistic rehabilitation, family support, disability advocacy, and economic empowerment. Now with a growing team of therapists, social workers, pastors, and caregivers.

Their Baby Ubuntu journey began in November 2025, when two ETC staff joined our facilitator training alongside partners from Nyandegoh in the provinces. In January 2026, eleven more team members began training, ready to launch their first Baby Ubuntu group by March/April. ETC’s vision is to integrate Baby Ubuntu into their community-based rehabilitation approach, replace previous playgroup models, and eventually support other rural organisations to run the programme independently. With growing momentum for inclusive development across Sierra Leone, ETC is perfectly placed to help Baby Ubuntu flourish – and we can’t wait to see the impact ahead
