This webinar showcased Disability Africa’s inclusive play schemes and explored how play can be used to promote the inclusion of disabled children.
The session featured a presentation from the Disability Africa UK and The Gambia teams, sharing learning about the importance of inclusive play and the impact of such schemes on children and communities. It also covered practical tips and the steps involved in setting up a community play scheme. This was followed by a Q&A session.
Attendees gained insight into why inclusive play is important, how play activities can be used to promote inclusion, and practical strategies for setting up simple inclusive play schemes. Participants also had the opportunity to share experiences and learning with a global expert panel.
