This webinar explored innovative adaptations of the Ubuntu programmes across diverse global contexts, featuring presentations from practitioners who have successfully modified these evidence-based interventions while preserving the programmes’ core values.
The 60-minute online session included three short presentations on the following adaptations:
- Ummeed Child Development Center, India: Integration of Baby Ubuntu and Ubuntu programmes for the Indian context
- Encompass, United Kingdom: South-to-North learning: Adapting Baby Ubuntu for UK implementation
- PATH Mozambique: Developing an accessible programme for communities with limited literacy
Each presentation covered the adaptation methodology, programme implementation, and key insights. The session closed with an interactive Q&A, fostering knowledge exchange among participants.
Attendees gained insight into methodologies for adapting programmes to context-specific needs, different delivery approaches for diverse populations, and had the opportunity to share experiences with a global expert panel.
