An experienced researcher and clinician in Uganda specialising in newborn health and child development, Carol leads program evaluation and information sharing across our global partnerships. Through her previous research roles, she brings a real-world appreciation, and solution-focused approach to understanding the enablers and barriers to monitoring, evaluation and learning across our partnerships. Continuing to play a pivotal role in supporting program implementation across Africa, Carol’s current PhD studies examine outcomes and impacts of preterm birth on early child development, providing recommendations for policy, practice and research to support 13 million affected children worldwide.
