With 20 years’ experience in research and project management, Ralph provides strategic and operational leadership and oversight across a portfolio of complex multi-country health research and intervention programmes focused on Newborn Health and Child Development. At the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine, he leads the non-scientific delivery of projects, including the Baby Ubuntu programme, where he works closely with the team to ensure strong financial, contractual and operational foundations for sustainable growth. He is a strong advocate for empowering teams, ensuring partners and colleagues have the tools, structures, and confidence they need to deliver their best work. Drawing on experience across the public and private sectors, he brings a pragmatic and strategic approach to programme delivery, balancing long-term vision with thoughtful day-to-day management.
